Hey, I'm Calvin (26) from Berlin and specialize in sound design, creative production, sampling, mixing and play piano and guitar.
I'm the singer, producer and engineer of the Dark Pop/HipHop duo "ONE:FIFTY" which has amassed over 900k Streams on Spotify with the first 4 songs.
I own an Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Abbey Road Institute and have 7 years of experience in music production.
I recorded an orchestra with John Kurlander (Lord of the Rings) at Abbey Road London Studio 1.
I also did summer school at SAE Institute Bochum and EMS Berlin when I was starting out as a producer.
Furthermore, I own a Bachelors degree in business administration with focus on marketing from SRH University Berlin. Therefore I do all marketing activities for ONE:FIFTY.
I'm executive producer and creative director for the videos of ONE:FIFTY which have won several prizes at film festivals in Germany, France, USA and Japan.

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: DarkPop/HipHop
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Creativity, Uniqueness
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually start the production with either a sample or self played piano/guitar. My strongest skill is sound design and flipping samples so I try to make something unique from the beginning. After that I build a rough structure with Drums/Bass. Before going into detail with the production I focus on creating vocals that fit the song while it's still fresh. When that's done I start looking at general arrangement, backings, additional instruments, rough mix, distinct sound design for each track, etc. From there on everything gets more and more specific until the track is ready for the final mix.
