Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Sadly, I am new to the platform. And not familiar with other freelancers yet.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: I am most asked about revisions and clients wanting to know what they are allowed to ask. My answer: 3 revisions, and ask a question! Ask any question, anytime. I also answer if able!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: It’s not always easy. But it isn’t always hard either.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be clear and don’t be afraid to ask questions! I want to make your project come out like you envisioned it!

A: A mix of rock and Hip Hop vibes
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I love the work I did with Sean After Dark's Adore album. It was such a good experience to create the sound from the ground up, and deliver a fully deliverable product.

A: A Record and a Single!

A: Both! and because why not?

A: To work hard, listen, and communicate!

A: I lov everything. Music is my passion, and I'm happy to help others make their dream become sound.

A: What they are looking for from the mix, and a reference track in the "space" they are in!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, ILok, Interface, XLR, and Mic.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been creating and mixing for a little over a decade. My end goal is to own a studio! I started with a Bachelors in Music from the University of Arizona, and then a Master's Recording Engineer II Certificate from CRAS in Phoenix, Arizona. I'm now in Austin, Texas working through Orb Recording Studio, and freelancing.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Igorrr in his personal studio. His entire wall on analogue sound generators and gear would be amazing to process through.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Subtractive EQ!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: In usually work in Alt-Rock and Hip Hop genres.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communicating with the client to make sure we are always on the same page, so within 3 revisions the project is usually always done.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring spacial awareness and unique tricks to the table. I have many rooms to balance mixes in to make sure everything translates how the clients needs.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Typical work process is: Gain Staging --> EQ --> Compression --> Effects --> Bussing
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am able to mix out of Orb Recording Studios, and also have a profession signal path in Pro Tools, for in the box production.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Two if the biggest influences in my music are Igorrr, and Tyler the Creator. They both push boundaries in such ways that inspire me to think outside of the box.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do is Mixing and Mastering services, that typically deal in vocal production, and full band projects.
