Interview with Jessie
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a great sounding small studio setup in my home with an Aston Origin condenser mic, UA Arrow interface, Pro Tools, and various instruments.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by artists in so many genres, but have been a huge Taylor Swift fan since 8th grade and I think her storytelling style and the way she sings has really influenced my work. Other inspirations include The Japanese House, BROODS, Gabrielle Aplin, Grey, Broken Social Scene, and the unique Pop genius of Caroline Polachek.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My most common work is EDM and Pop toplines. I have written and tracked vocals for countless Pop/EDM tracks and I always have tons of fun working in those genres! My most popular Pop/EDM collabs were with My Buddy Mike (Mad Love, Hold On To Let Go, Better, etc), BEAUZ (Feel The Light, Little Did You Know), and Aaron Sprinkle (Luna Wave).
