Sandbox Studio is a boutique New Zealand audio production and recording company.
Located in Wellington’s central business district, we are just a stone’s throw from the Beehive.
The name Sandbox derives from our Iso Booth. This state of the art recording room is a creative safe haven, a playground, a space of pure bliss, where talent can feel inspired to build castle’s of sound.
We are an International team of artists, producers and engineers who have come together from Argentina, Australia, Italy, Serbia, Germany, New zealand and California.
We have spent 5 years building one of the quietest and best sounding isolation rooms in Wellington.
We work on composition, mix, production, mastering and we offer weekend workshops and masterclasses where we share our IP with everyone who shares our passion for music, sound and technology.
We believe that collaboration is a major driver for the success of a creative process. Our studio is designed with this collaborative spirit in mind.
We like to think of our Studio as a lounge in the clouds, it’s a comfortable space with a positive vibe.
We offer outstanding quality sound recordings and audio post production services for all walks of life.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We look forward to helping you realise your project.

Interview with Sandbox Studio
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We promise to clients that we will work with them and provide great customer service until they are satisfied with the result.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: We do not discriminate between music genres :-). We do everything.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We like to get a good idea of what the client is looking for in terms of work, and then once we have an idea, we'll give them a quote. If they would like to work with us, then we will bring their ideas to life in the studio. Where we work with them in-house to provide them with satisfaction.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: We have a main room with a main desk for production and engineering(and recording), a sound-isolation booth focused more on recording, and two desks in the main room for in-house music producers. Everything is setup so that technical issues do not interfere with the creative process.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work we do are recording vocals, instruments, voice overs, as well as music production and engineering.
