Railtown Mastering is located in the historic Gastown area of Vancouver, British Columbia. We are situated on the corner of Main and Alexander, one block from the waterfront. The studio was designed and built by Fred Gilpin and William Barker of FGA Acoustics, mastering engineer and owner Andrew Spindor, and architect/designer Brooke Dedrick.
The studio was carefully constructed over a one year period beginning in 2017, with the result being an extraordinarily accurate listening environment, that doesn't influence playback, or the decisions being made in the mastering process.
We are located within Dick & Roger's Sound Studio Ltd, which has been a staple in the audio post-production industry in Vancouver for over 25 years.
