Experimental Producer/Engineer

I'm a seasoned producer, engineer & musician who has been recording & performing music for 10 years. My tracks focus on creative sample manipulation & experimentation. I aim to elevate songs with emphasis on groove, texture, energy, space & attitude. I aim to serve the writer's vision by enhancing the song without distracting from it.

Hi, I'm Hang Linton. I have produced for artists including Laura Lulika, Dornika, Baby Punk and Sebastian Matthias. I've also worked with producers such as Sam Grant & Pete Smith. My music & sound has been featured in art galleries across the UK & EU including Baltic Gateshead & Martin Gropius Bau. I have also performed at many festivals, venues & events.

I've done remote sessions & mixing for many artists & projects - My roots are in Hip Hop, but I have grown from there into Pop, Techno, Jungle, House, Doom & Punk music. My primary instrument is my Elektron Digitakt sampler, so I am a prolific beat programmer. I also play guitar, synths & provide vocals/toplining for productions. I'm also a solo artist (under the name Hang Linton) and a composer, so I approach my production & mixing from a songwriter's viewpoint - with the primary consideration being what's best for the song.

My studio is developing as time goes on but I also own a Moog Minitaur, Roland JX-08, Elektron Analog Heat, 2x Presonus Studio Channel with vintage Mullard Tubes, Focusrite Compounder, Mackie 1402 VLZ pro and a wide selection of classic & modern guitar pedals.

I aim to achieve a classic 90s sound and warmth with my productions, which can utilise clean or dirty analogue flavours to enhance your sound.
