A: Yes i think a good tip is... write with the flow, make a sratch and built on, don't get lost or lose focus in finding - that one snare sound, built it out first and later if you get the foundation down, look what sounds are perfect for the song. Make a folder Fav sounds and put them in, but just 10 of everyone.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: Life, i write down what i see, what surrounds me. When i talk to people i got a good feeling on how the feel, often i write songs that people can rely on. The feel seen, or moved when they hear my songs.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: It depends on what the customer wants. For Songwriting i took in all the information i got, if there are reference songs i listen to them and write down, the structure, the instruments, to get the best feel for the song i'm writing. Then i get my guitar into the Looper and start to play, at 1.st, i start with the chorus, finding a great hook, then built everything else around it and use the looper for scratches of layering. For Toplining: I listen to the instrumental i got, take in what the client want me to write and then i put the song on repeat and start to hum along, and write down the first words that come to my mind. I write the Chorus first and then tell more of the story in the verses. After the lead vocals, i layer them, then the BGV's, Ad lips and last harmonys.
