Amonada Zeon on SoundBetter

A UNIQUE MIXTURE OF POP, TANGO AND OPERA ARIAS Originally trained as a lyric coloratura soprano and choir conductor, the German-Argentinean singer/songwriter Amonada Zeon has managed to develop a personal style characterized by gentle though powerful melodies, appealing poetic lyrics, and delightful crystal-clear voice lines.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Amónada developed, since childhood, a deep passion for music, art and literature. She started writing her own songs and poems at the early age of three but did not consider it as anything more than a hobby until later in adulthood.
Her first steps in music were as a piano and music theory student under the guidance of star pianist Martha Boungiorno and trumpeter Hector Fourgiuele. She continued her training as a singer with baritone Luis Gaeta, repertorist Catalina Hadis and also taking courses at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, with teachers like Martha Millán and Charles Calhoun, among others. In 1995, she was elected cultural representative of Argentina in the USA as part of the yearly Rotary Club exchange program. On her return, she attended the singing and choir conduction programme at Collegio Ward and left to complete her education in Vienna, invited as a private student to Prof. Hubert Deutsch, former vice director of the Vienna City Opera House. During her years in Vienna she also took classes with the iconic soprano Milkana Nikolova and was invited to be part of the Mitte Europa Festival representing her country. For several seasons, (and under different pseudonyms) she appeared as a soloist in numerous concerts and festivals in different cities of Eurpoe and America.
