Genre-Defying Mixing Engineer

Versatile Mixing Engineer with a background in Pop and Rock genres. I am the Engineering side of the recording group People Under the Stars.

My audio engineer mind started critically analyzing music when I repeatedly listened to the Beatles on a cassette tape in the early nineties. I was limited to 6 cassettes while riding in the back of a van with a group of Boy Scouts, and kept coming back to that album. They used great stereo recording techniques, wrote concise songs, and the quality was magical compared to newer material. I became obsessed with generational masters, gain staging quality, and lossless compression technologies in my first college. I graduated from the Audio Engineering program at Full Sail in 2005, and then explored other areas of life. Today, I stand on the shoulders of engineer giants. I embrace in-the-box mixing with my custom setup, and help artists realize their dreams and enjoy the process.

I own a luxury AV firm; this crafts my understanding of DACs and other High-end playback systems. My true first love is the recorded medium.

I use Pro Tools, Universal Audio, SSL, Neve, API, and numerous learned techniques and plugins to enhance and complete your mix. I'd love to take your properly edited and arranged songs and get them over the finish line.
