Session Guitarist

From being lead guitarist, co-songwriter and one of the founding members of Mystery Jets, to playing guitar for numerous artists such as Beth Gibbons (Portishead), Mick Jones (Clash), Erol Alkan (Beyond the Wizard Sleeve), James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco), Laura Marling, Jade Bird, Billie Marten and Flyte. Guitar is my heart and soul.

I'm a Londoner originally but am now living by the sea in Margate, and with the many other musicians who have flocked to the town I'm experiencing an abundance of musical opportunities here.

I've recorded six albums with Mystery Jets, writing songs, singing and predominantly playing guitar on all of them. I've had several recording and publishing deals, Rough Trade, Caroline International, Atlantic, Warners, BMG, Warner Chappell and Transgressive records being among the main ones.

Over the past decade and a half I have recorded guitar for an amazing collection of musical luminaries as well as toured alongside the Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Johnny Marr, Mumford and Sons to name but a few. I've performed in bands with legendary drummer Matt Johnson of Jeff Buckley's Grace album and Nick McCarthy from Franz Ferdinand.

I have also had the honour of working closely with some incredible record producers, among them Chris Thomas (Sex Pistols, Dark side of the Moon) James Ford (Arctic Monkeys) Dan Carey (Kae Tempest) Erol Alkan (Duran Duran) Andrew Sarlo (Big Thief, Flyte) Simone Felice and David Baron (The Lumineers, Jade Bird)

My musical heroes are Talk Talk, Joni Mitchell, Shuggie Otis, Cocteau Twins, Frank Ocean and Miles Davis.
