Born in Mexico City, Version Five ( El Cinco ) was raised in Southern California. At a very young age Cinco was influenced by all genres of music, this is very evident when he's in the studio. His motto is " Love the Process".

He's produced for artist in all genres of music. in 2008 he co- founded a dance record label called Tape Deck Music, where he’s had the pleasure of working with incredibly talented up and coming dance artist.
