Tomás is amazing. I gave him a challenging piece to work with, and he arranged it as a tango and recorded it with his team, and the result was phenomenal, really as beautiful as I had hoped for and more. He is very responsive and flexible, and takes his time to understand the needs of the project. The result was a warm, heartfelt, luscious, and technically proficient tango that fused beautifully with the Arabic performance by the singer. I highly recommend working with him. I commissioned Tomás to create an orchestral version of Bryan Ferry's Love is the Drug for eight instruments (chamber acoustic ensemble), and was very happy with the results! The arrangement was perfect, and captured the essence of the original song, while also giving instruments some things to do. Our communication was professional and focused. All of my questions were answered and the final assets were delivered on time. The response to his arrangement from our audience was wonderful. Fully endorse Tomás and will work with him again!

I hired Tomás to create an arrangement for tango quartet, and he delivered “El tango de medianoche del gallo,” adapted from my piece “The Angry Rooster.” His years in a tango bar show—the writing is authentically tango without cliché. The main theme is catchy, the harmony balances tension and release, the pacing builds naturally, and the piece feels tight and purposeful, with expressive dynamics and a clean, release-ready mix. Communication was clear, delivery was on time, and I didn’t need any revisions. I’m very happy with the result and would gladly work with him again.

A: Mis primeros estrenos como compositor datan desde hace 20 años y mis primeras grabaciones como arreglador son de hace 8/7 años (Sexteto Entrdaor, producción independiente y Galattea Quartet, Sony)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Tango Y música clásica de distintos períodos. Pero también hice arreglos para big bands, pop y música folk de distintas latitudes
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Si es un arreglo puedo trabajar a partir de una grabación o una melodía con cifrado. Si es una composición es importante saber cual es el contexto, además de las cuestiones técnico musicales. Una vez que podemos obtener una maqueta para mostrar el modelo al cliente, con el visto bueno de el se procede a cerrar detalles de orquestación, conducción de voces, etc. O se corrige lo necesario hasta llegar al ideal buscado

A: Hago arreglos y composiciones para diferentes formatos, desde instrumentos solistas hasta grandes orquestas (pasando por orquestas típicas de tango y big bands)
