Highly accomplished and versatile multi-instrumentalist with over 15 years of experience as a record producer and mixing engineer. Specialising in working alongside songwriters to create musical landscapes from their vision.

I have been working professionally as a record producer for over 15 years, working in many styles and genres. I am a classically trained pianist, and have always loved pop, rock, indie, alternative music. I picked up the guitar in my early teens, inspired by grunge bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden and Silverchair. I formed my own bands and and began recording demos in the garage. This ignited my love of record production. I soon scavenged the local vinyl stores and my mum and dads record collection and would listen day and night to the greats such as The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Beach Boys, The Doors, Joni Mitchell, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, The Police, Micheal Jackson, David Bowie & many more. I've been collecting records and recording equipment ever since...

My passion has grown into 'Hazy Cosmic Jive" recording studio, where I now work full-time as a producer and composer. I work with artists in my local area of Newcastle, & am excited to join the SoundBetter community to connect with artists around the world. I am a songwriter as well, and have an experimental pop band Hudson Arc. When I'm not producing other artists I like to release my own music too!

I play instruments including the piano/keyboards, guitars, drums, bass, double bass, didgeridoo & vocals. I have incredible vintage recording equipment & instruments at my studio.
