Producer, writer, instrumentalist and engineer Austin1hunnid brings passion, personality and consistency to the studio. The LA-native graduated in 2021 from Syracuse University’s Bandier Program for music business, and upon his return to the west coast, has engineered and produced for artists like Aminé, Dom Kennedy and Brodie Fresh.
In his first summer in Los Angeles, Austin1hunnid executive produced two albums: a debut LP project ‘Off Pico’ from longtime collaborator Nick Coleman, and an EP/film soundtrack for Compton native and 2021 Forbes 30 supermodel Geron McKinley. Following the release of ‘Off Pico’, he joined the “Love Will Get You Killed Tour” featuring New York MCs Conway the Machine, Stove God Cooks, and Brodie Fresh. Citing Pharrell, Mustard, CardoGotWings and Wheezy as his biggest inspirations, Austin’s distinct and dynamic bounce revitalizes the spirit while bringing fresh textures to hip-hop. Alongside his craft as an exceptional recording engineer, he is an indispensable resource to any artist he’s paired with.
