Born again Christian, saved from the secular music industry in Los Angeles, making music and assisting others make music for the Kingdom of God. I am a singer, songwriter, audio engineer, and producer. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2020 with a degree in Engineering and currently work in one of the best recording studios in Dallas.
I'm Lindsay. I recently was found by Jesus in my apartment in Los Angeles where I was working in the music industry. After a radically supernatural encounter with The Lord, I left LA and dedicated my life to God. I surrendered my musical gifting to God and took a break from music to grow my relationship and understanding of the Word.
I moved to Dallas, TX after being offered a position to work in a recording studio in the city. I have been working in the studio- mixing, recording, doing vocal production for my artists, singing on tracks, and playing some instruments on their songs as well. You have access to a professional studio engineer!
When working with me, you are always working with a multifaceted artist. I can help you in every area of your songs. Singing, Top-Lining, Writing, Playing Keys+Guitar, Producing Beats, Engineering, Mixing + Mastering. Meaning you have access to all of these gifts while working with me. Just let me know what you need!
I would say my specialty is SINGING and/writing worship/gospel/Christian songs, after being booked continuously on Fiverr, along with receiving many 5 star ratings and repeat clients.
Hope we can work together to expand the Kingdom through worship!

Lindsay Vann delivered an amazing vocal performance to my song. She brought a level of spiritual authenticity that is very inspiring. Her vocal style is authentically pop and has a chest-voice to falsetto sound that is very emotionally compelling. Her recording engineering abilities are also impressive as she was able to deliver high quality stems with correct timing. She is also a good communicator. I highly recommend Lindsay!
Interview with Lindsay Vann
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Mixing a Christian Hip Hop/Rock album last year. It was amazing to use all the skills I learned in the secular music industry for God to make the project sound really cool.

A: A mix for a 8 track gospel album!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Riley Urick
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, only because you can have access to more. I love the sound of analog, it isn't always easy to get your hands on though.

A: We will work until you are satisfied.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love making my clients extremely happy and giving them the best experience they've ever had.

A: You're the engineer? Yes lol.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Usually people are surprised that a female can do audio engineering and production.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your inspiration/muse for what you're creating?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Use all my giftings, you have access to them. (as mentioned in description.)

A: MacBook Pro, Electric Guitar, Microphone, Mic Stand, Interface, OP1.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started doing this- singing and engineering, my own secular music in my bedroom when I was 16. I ended up getting into Berklee College of Music for singing, then was accepted to the Audio Production and Engineering degree, graduating in three years and moving to LA. Got around some top industry artists very quickly due to previous connections, worked in a recording studio... got born again, threw that whole lifestyle away to follow Jesus. He restored my gifts to me and have been using them for Kingdom music ever since June 2021.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Kingdom.

A: I would love to work with Upperroom, because they have the most authentic sound I've heard.

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A great ear for vocal production, harmonies, melodies, and also knowing how to put everything together engineering wise to make it sound pristine.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I love when people have song references (singing or mixing) so we have a mutual understanding of where we're going with the project. Then I go for it, and we either do revisions or the performance is exactly how the client wanted it.

A: In my personal set-up I have a Lauten Audio 320 Microphone, an Apogee Duet interface, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Ableton.
