As a solo artist my mission is to accelerate the composition I'm working with to the highest standard with melodic yet focused vocals - letting the intimate moments of a song be handled with care and sensitivity and giving the moments where the power needs to be unleashed really shine. I'm very careful, when singing for another artists project, to "check my ego at the door" and bring my A-game.

I've been a studio and live vocalist for a long time and feel it's to my advantage that it takes an artist to know an artist. The studio game is anything but. We need to have fun, but art takes enough time as it is - I come prepared.
I've also spent several years as a Broadway performer in NY - where pitch in both harmony and melody have no room for flaws. Because of my experience as an actor I consider myself a music interpreter. When I sang for Alan Menken and Glenn Slater I had to express the pure emotion of their music. That's my aim for any project. It's about the feel.
