Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The LONG ISLAND album - it was so fun to write and produce some incredible indie-pop with some of my best friends and see the vision that we all had for each song come to light!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently finishing off the LONG ISLAND major project for release, alongside continuing production as Aminica and recording some featured vocals for projects!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being able to bring an artists vision to life - seeing them excited about a track that's turned into the sound they were envisioning is always incredible.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Clean, modern indie-pop with an electronic edge - I love making something that combines all of mine or the artists favourite influences.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Fickle Friends! Their production and songwriting are incredible!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: A drone note in a vocal harmonies can really help punch a chorus' vocal to the forefront
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Sitting down with an artist and figuring out their direction for the song, discussing influences and the vibe they wish to create before beginning to lay down ideas on Ableton. From this producing the song collaboratively is so important! Letting the artist have a major input on whether the direction of the track is heading where they thought, before laying down vocals and producing the final outcome!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Production work of all kinds - whether you're looking for an entire track to be produced from your demo, to producing out the vocal that you have recorded, to tuning and comping tracks.
