Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I’m especially proud of working on a global commercial for a Middle Eastern telecommunications company called “DU”. I recorded the artist Tayyip Santo and produced the entire project from scratch, including production, recording, mixing, and mastering. Being part of the project from start to finish, and attending the actual shoot for the video campaign, was incredible. Seeing my work broadcast across billboards, shopping malls, and train stations, hearing the audio in different environments, and knowing it was part of a seven-figure campaign, made it one of the most impactful projects of my career.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I’m currently recording and producing new tracks for my upcoming releases, collaborating on sync-ready projects for TV and film, and offering vocal and engineering services for clients worldwide.

A: I use digital for its flexibility and precision, but I incorporate analog-inspired techniques for warmth and character in vocals and production. This allows for a clean, professional sound with rich tonal quality.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Many people think vocals or mixing are just about recording and balancing sound. In reality, it’s about crafting the emotion, energy, and dynamics of a track so it connects with listeners and resonates across platforms.

A: • What’s the vision or feeling of the track? • What genre or style are you aiming for? • Are there reference songs you want to emulate? • Do you need vocals, songwriting, production, or all of the above? • What’s your timeline and budget for the project?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Choose someone who can adapt to your project’s vibe, deliver professional recordings, and communicate clearly. Make sure they have a proven track record and can provide both creative and technical expertise to elevate your song.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I’ve been performing and recording professionally for several years, opening for artists like Busta Rhymes, KRS-One, Joey Bada$$, and Redman & Method Man, performing at festivals like SOLE DXB and Sound City, and securing sync placements on TV shows and global campaigns. I’ve also honed my sound engineering skills, winning Sound Engineer of the Year – MUSIVV Awards 2024.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Versatile, emotional, and precise. My style adapts to the project’s needs, whether that’s soulful R&B melodies, hard-hitting rap flows, or layered harmonies. I aim to enhance the track’s feeling while delivering professional, polished, and engaging vocals.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I’d love to work with Anderson .Paak or J. Cole because they combine lyrical creativity, musicality, and technical precision. Collaborating with artists who push boundaries would challenge me creatively and allow me to contribute both vocally and in production.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Prioritize clarity in your vocals. To me it all starts at the recording stage. Starting with cleanly recorded vocals will make whats follow so much easier. Also Layer harmonies and ad-libs strategically, tune where necessary, and ensure vocals sit right in the mix. A clear, well-arranged vocal track can elevate any song from good to amazing.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I primarily work on hip-hop, rap, R&B, and soul-influenced music, but I’m versatile enough to contribute to pop, cinematic, or sync-ready tracks. I adapt to any style and focus on making my contributions fit the mood and vision of the project.

A: My strongest skill is adapting my vocals and production to suit the unique vibe and emotion of a project, whether that’s soulful R&B, rap with high lyrical density, or commercial hooks. Coupled with my mixing and mastering skills, I can deliver a track that’s complete, polished, and ready for the world to appreciate.

A: I bring emotion, precision, and versatility. Whether it’s soulful R&B, rap in any style, or layered harmonies, I deliver vocals and arrangements that enhance the track’s feel. I also provide technical expertise, ensuring every element—from vocals to instrumental integration—is professionally polished and ready for release.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I start by understanding the client’s vision, vibe, and goals for the track. Then I focus on vocal performance and songwriting, crafting hooks, verses, or toplines that fit the project. Once the recording is complete, I move into sound engineering, mixing, tuning, and layering vocals for clarity, energy, and impact. I communicate regularly to ensure the client’s vision is fully realized.

A: I work in a professional home studio optimized for vocals and full production. My setup includes: • Ableton Live 12 – for recording, arranging, and production • Slate Digital ML1 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone – capturing full-range, detailed vocals • SSL 2+ Interface – clean, high-quality audio conversion • Full suite of industry-standard plugins for mixing, mastering, tuning, and processing This setup allows me to deliver professional, polished recordings ready for release or sync placements.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I draw inspiration from artists who blend technical skill with emotional authenticity, such as Anderson .Paak, J. Cole, Frank Ocean, and Kendrick Lamar, as well as producers like Metro Boomin and No I.D. Their ability to craft music that connects deeply while maintaining high production standards motivates me in both performance and engineering.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I provide full-range vocals, songwriting, and sound engineering services. Most clients hire me for rap and soul/R&B vocals, custom hooks, verses, and toplines, as well as mixing, mastering, vocal tuning, and production to achieve professional, release-ready tracks. I can also provide sync-ready music for TV, film, ads, and brand campaigns.
