Kym Becton on SoundBetter

Background vocalist for Wendy Moten, Miki Howard, and Vesta! Performed in a production at the Lion Theatre in New York!

I started performing professionally in 1996 when I was hired to sing background vocals for Wendy Moten. I later took to stage, performing in musical productions like "Dreamgirls", "Godspell", "Hair", and "Porgy And Bess" with the local theatre in my hometown of Memphis, TN. I was hired to sing background vocals for greats like Vesta and Miki Howard in between working a full time job and stage performance. I moved to Atlanta in 2008 and signed with a theatre group. We performed the musical "MADAM", the story of Madam CJ Walker in Atlanta and New York for two years. I have also provided background vocals and session work in the studio. I am a writer, as well.
