Chicken Alejandro on SoundBetter

Multi-instrumentalist Producer, Audio Engineer and Studio Owner.

I'm a Colombian music producer with a proven track record in the industry. I've collaborated with artists who have amassed 6 million+ streams and landed on popular playlists on Spotify and Apple Music.

As the owner of a professional studio, I provide access to top-notch facilities shared with producers working with renowned artists like Maluma, Beéle, Juanes, Pipe Bueno, and Andrés Cepeda. This allows me to stay ahead of emerging trends and upcoming sounds.

My main goal as a producer is to make your music shine and capture your artistic vision. With expertise in playing over six different instruments and specialized skills as a Mixing Engineer, I take a comprehensive approach to shaping your sound.

I also offer an optional service where I can tap into my extensive industry network. I can bring in session musicians who have contributed to major hits like "Despacito" and connect you with engineers who have worked with acclaimed artists such as Rauw Alejandro, Feid, and J Balvin. In addition, I can introduce you to music business experts who can provide guidance and help take your career to new heights.

Interview with Chicken Alejandro

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: I'm finishing an Album for Tinna Rey, ranging from reggaeton to pop ballads and boleros.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Proper gain staging from the start is key. Be wise at choosing sounds.

  5. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  6. A: I'm incredibly versatile, I can adopt very easily the essence of any genre and combine it with other sounds.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: I begin by understanding the vision of the project, then I work on the structure of the song. After it's all clear, beatmaking begins, keeping in mind sound design and arrangements. Vocal Production is key to fine-tune final decisions on the beat and be sure they're working together. I tend to mix as I go, so it's always sounding professional from the start. I tune and edit vocals, then mix from what I've already worked on before, and finish with the mastering stage. My artists give me feedback in between all stages, so we're always on the same page and creating together.
