Tons of top 40s on SiriusXM! Guitar tracks ready for the radio!
Whether it's swampy slide guitar or funky west coast hip hop count me in! Years of experience recording for artists of all genres. Big into ambient textures, classic funk, wall of sound rock, pop loops, heady jams, chicken pickin', and whatever else you wanna dive into. As an in demand session musician in Canada, I'm just as comfortable nailing the Nashville Sound as I am laying down a 12 Bar Blues or Pop Anthem.
We'll chat about what your goals are and we'll make them happen! Stoked to help bring your music to life! Played on hundreds of releases (don't tell anyone, but yours is the one I'm most excited about)
Pro gear, pro attitude, pro results. Love talking tones, always love to know what inspires you, or you can trust me to dive in and use what my ears hear. Got every type of guitar at our disposal and millions of pedals, no tone is too far out.
Will send over fully edited stems ready for mix, in tune and in time. If there are any requests just gimme a heads up (DI, wet/dry, etc.)
We'll make sure you're stoked with the results. I'm not happy until you are.
Can't wait to hear what you've been working on!

Interview with Stu Weinberg
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: We seriously get to make dreams a reality. How many people can say they do that? You're an artist and you have this idea in your head that means a lot to you and you're all excited about. I get to do what I love and play guitar. Then at some point that magical idea you had is a tangible thing that you can listen to and share with the world. Kinda rad.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: If left to my own devices I'd say it's soulful and bluesy (think John Mayer, Derek Trucks, Jerry Garcia, David Gilmour). But I ALWAYS play to suit the song. I've done hundreds of pop-country solos that could be played by someone who learned guitar a week ago. Won't do anything over the top without the green light.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more. A single great part ends up having the most impact in the final mix.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I joke that country music pays my mortgage. Seriously though, pretty much everything. Lots of pop, rock, country, jamband, Americana.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Whatever I've been doing seems to be working. Not that the numbers matter at all, but the tunes I've been fortunate to play on have racked up millions of streams and tons of spins at radio. Artists and producers keep coming back.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My album "Disco Stu Likes Disco Music" was a blast to make. If you want to hear what I sound like when I'm playing for fun strap in and give it a spin!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm incredibly fortunate to have a consistent stream of session work. Always exciting opening up the email inbox with something totally fresh and totally new to work on.
