Hi my name is Scott Patterson (BSc Hon's Music Technology) and I am the lead mastering engineer at Generation Audio. I have 24 years experience in Music Production and Mixing and Mastering many forms of Electronic such as Techno, Hard Techno, Schranz, Drum & Bass, House and Hardcore. Other genres include Hip Hop, Acoustic and Metal.

I have produced, mixed and mastered under various aliases in the electronic music scene over the past two decades including:

  8. A: Q. Can you check my mix as I have made the track using headphones. A. Try and mix on some studio monitors but I can check the mix here and let you know what needs adjusting in the meantime

  10. A: That its all done through one processor

  12. A: Look for experience and not just what gear the engineers have. I have heard terrible mixes and masters from high end studios! Its not just about the gear, its how you use it!
