A small studio with BIG capability. Located in kingfield maine. Mostly a producer myself, i went to school for live audio mixing and analog recording/mastering. I STILL USE REEL TO REEL!! And also do cassette and specialize in using tubes to master songs to make them real warm and full. Maximization i think is a personal preference. ANALOG SOUND!
SPECIALIZING in analog recording process, remastering music, mastering/mixing, and production of music for various genre. I went to school for analog recording and can use tubes, reel to reel, or cassette even to give you a warmer, fuller sound....what i believe is LACKING in most music. EVERY song before the 80's basically was recorded ANALOG and for a reason. VINYL PRESSING. It is NEEDED to properly record to vinyl....you dont want to use a DIGITAL 1's0's signal to press vinyl with. HIGH bias tape at higher recording speeds is the BEST medium for recording HANDS DOWN. Having proper pre amps and eq techniques help as well. I use a ALLEN HEATH mix wizard in combination with an ART VLA TUBE amp to turn the soud into warm electricity. that ill do for REAL CHEAP..MORE FOR TAPE... : )
