More than 10 years of experience in the music industry as a singer, producer and songwriter. Get the sound you need and take your songs to the next level!
Hola, this is Anth Alonso! Music producer, songwriter, guitar player and singer. I focus on the artists intention and put the spotlight on the final product. I put passion digging into other music cultures to make them fit within the mainstream market. No genre restrictions. We will put on a radio ready banger that no one can deny.
Record makers such as Pharrell (The Neptunes, Justin Timberlake), Tainy (Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber), Sky Rompiendo (Feid, Ozuna), Nesty LMM (Wisin y Yandel), Louis Bell (Post Malone, The Kid Laroi), inspired me while I was experimenting with my own music and that is what shaped my sound even tho I am constantly trying to level up.
As a singer, I had a pretty successful career opening for bands such as "All Time Low" and "Panic! At The Disco".

Interview with prodbyanth
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I’m particularly proud of was producing a debut album for a rising LGTBI+ reggaeton artist. I was involved in every step, from beat production to final mastering. Seeing the artist’s growth and the positive response to the album was incredibly fulfilling.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m currently working on several projects, including full productions for independent artists and mixing/mastering work for upcoming releases. Each project is unique, and I’m excited to bring them all to life.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: While I’m always open to collaboration, I believe in finding the right fit for each project. If you’re looking for something specific, I can definitely recommend Nacho Larraza or Marcel Berger.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I prefer a hybrid approach. Digital offers flexibility and precision, while analog can add warmth and character. Combining the two allows me to achieve a polished yet organic sound.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to treat your music with the same care and attention to detail as if it were my own. I’m committed to delivering a product that you’ll be proud of and that stands up to the highest industry standards.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love the creative process—taking an idea from a rough concept to a finished product that resonates with people. Seeing an artist’s vision come to life is incredibly rewarding.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Clients often ask how long a project will take. My answer is that it varies depending on the complexity, but I focus on quality over speed. I’ll work efficiently, but I won’t rush the process at the expense of the final product.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: A common misconception is that producers just make beats. In reality, producing involves shaping the entire sound of a track, from the beat to the mix, ensuring everything aligns with the artist’s vision.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask about their musical influences, the story behind the song, and what they want to achieve with the track. Understanding their vision helps me tailor my approach to their needs.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look for someone who listens to your vision and brings a collaborative approach. A great producer will not only provide technical expertise but also help you realize your creative potential.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My MacBook, UAD Apollo, an SM7B microphone, good headphones, a MIDI keyboard, and my beloved Fender guitar. With these, I can create just about anything.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve been producing music for over a decade, starting as a singer in a touring-rock band, then auto-producing my own songs and gradually expanding into full production services for others. My journey has been shaped by constant learning and collaboration with other artists and producers. I also studied sound engineering.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is a mix of modern, hard-hitting beats with a focus on clean, impactful production. I aim to create music that feels fresh but timeless, with a clear, polished sound that can compete with anything on the charts.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I’d love to work with Feid. His lyrical delivery is amazing, and collaborating with an artist of his caliber would be an incredible creative experience.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always reference your mix on multiple systems. What sounds great in your studio might not translate as well in a car or on a phone. Make adjustments based on these different environments to ensure your track sounds great everywhere.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work on urban genres like reggaeton, hip-hop, and trap, but I’m also experienced with afrobeat, pop, and electronic music. My versatility allows me to adapt to different styles while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is my ability to blend technical precision with creative vision. Whether it’s building a beat, refining a vocal, or polishing a mix, I ensure every element of a track is the best it can be.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a deep understanding of how to translate an artist’s ideas into a polished, professional sound. My focus is on creating music that not only sounds great but also resonates emotionally with the listener.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by understanding the artist’s vision and goals for the track. Then, I craft a beat or production that aligns with their style. We work closely through revisions, focusing on details like vocal delivery, effects, and overall sound. Finally, I mix and master the track if necessary, ensuring it’s ready for release.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is a blend of high-end digital tools and select analog gear. I use industry-standard software like Ableton Live and Pro Tools, coupled with a powerful UAD Apollo audio interface and top-tier Yamaha monitors.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by producers like Tainy, Sky Rompiendo, and Timbaland for their consistency, versatility, and innovative use of rhythms. Their ability to blend creativity with technical skill influences how I approach every project.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I primarily provide full production services, which include creating original beats, editing, mixing, and sometimes mastering tracks. I also work extensively on vocal production, ensuring that artists’ voices shine with the emotion and clarity they intend.
