My name is Ryan Andes and I've been obsessed with music my entire life. Over the years, I've honed down that obsession to one thing: helping people create and capture their musical ideas and perfecting the sounds and tones in their head. And we have everything we need to make that happen. Sacred Geometry Studio is a fun and creative environment where we, as a team, work together to build an experience that we can pass on forever.

  1. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  2. A: Honestly I like working with anybody who is passionate about their craft and puts their all into it. Sure we'd all love to work with Metallica but I get just as much satisfaction and enjoyment with a garage band.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: I tend to start my mixes with my stereo bus chain. It really helps guide me to end result much safer with less guess work because I am hearing as close to final product I can get while mixing.

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: I usually work in the genre of Metal. Be it metalcore, hardcore, deathcore, death metal, tech metal as well as rock. Basically anything with high gain amps and blistering drums haha.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: My strongest skill is mixing and mastering. Ive been doing this for so long now that my ears are dialed as well as my mixing room setup.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: I try to bring whatever the song needs. The "push and pull" experience is what I refer to it as. I try to make the song breathe in and out as well as song as good as it can be.

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: Depending on the project, first thing is to get into the musicians or producers head and try and find the vibe they want to come thru the project. They rest is getting to the finish line as smooth as possible.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: Currently I am running Logic Pro X with Apogee convertors and an assortment of rack gear ranging from eqs, compressors, bus comps, summing mixers, etc.

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: I am very inspired by engineers in the modern metal world such as Dave Otero, Will Putney, Adam "Nolly" Getgood, Randy Staub, CLA and TLA, and many more.

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: My most common work that comes through the door would be Mixing and Mastering for new and old clients. Aside from mixing/mastering I also record and produce here at my studio.
