I am a former Asia's Got Talent Contestant and a verified Spotify artist! I want to work with producers/singers/songwriters on new music!

My name's Nandini Rai, but I often go by 'nands' :) I am a singer songwriter based in California, but from Singapore and India. I have lived in South East Asia my whole life but now reside in Davis, California for college. I have experimented with a lot in my life, like shaving my hair off (twice), modeling for magazine edits, competing on Asia's Got Talent, and so on. Although I'm currently in college pursuing an Economics degree, my dream has always been to pursue music.

I initially got involved in Musical Theater, and quickly discovered my love for singing. Wanting to take it further, I started properly singing and picked up songwriting as well, at the age of 8. I currently have 2 of my own songs released on Spotify😍 After taking a small break from releasing to figure out exactly what I wanna do, I'm ready to get back into it and go full on again😎 I'd love to work with any producers, singers, or songwriters on new music. I also have stuff in the works that are open to collaboration!

I wish to advocate for young and upcoming artists, specifically those that may not have easy access to big names in the industry. I know how hard it can be to dream big from a small town/city where the music scene doesn't seem 'happening'. While I want to make it myself, I want to do it alongside other likeminded individuals that share the same dream :)
