Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I use a mix of both but typically when mixing and mastering I am fully in the box unless I feel like my digital compressors are pumping a little bit.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That we will keep working until they get that polished professional Indie Pop sound they are looking for!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Helping others achieve a sound they thought they never could.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That bad recording and production can be fixed in the mix/master. Mixing and mastering are there to give the track that final polish but a good sounding song always starts in the recording process.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1. My Computer 2. My Distressor 3. My Tele 4. My Strat 5. My Acoustic
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Very clean and polished indie pop sound that still hits hard when need be.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Jeremy Zucker, Chelsea Cutler or Del Water Gap! Love all of their production and songwriting.

A: Make everything as tight as possible and less is more!

A: Depending on what I am doing that day I always start with listening to the source material along side a reference track if I was given one and work from there.
