Interview with Keith Rose
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: There's no point to take an electronic gear on an island I think, as there is no electricity there, and all the batteries will end up dead anyway. I'd better take some music instruments with me, to just get alone with them and play some beautiful music: Ukulele, Acoustic Guitar, Tongue Drum, Kalimba and Djembe:)
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A Metalcore song called "Are You Still Dead" by "Makauri Pie" which is going to be released soon. This song came up very energetic and contrasting! I love how it went from a conception to a full song so quickly and naturally! I enjoyed working with a band like them and it was the most inspiring project I took part in due to everyone's freedom of thinking and creative process! I was helping with the production, collecting all the elements of the song and making them work together.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently working on my Future Garage album, assisting with the production of a Metal song by "Makauri Pie" band, helping young talents get more professional with their productions totally free of charge.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: My friend Dmytro: https://soundbetter.com/profiles/556012-dmytro-somov?utm_source=open.spotify.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=hireme_link_spotify#profile-reviews
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Because nowadays you can create music with no limits with only a computer/laptop, and all this makes it possible for you to create no matter where you are!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to keep clients informed of the progress, and be responsive to their feedback/questions and quality!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Freedom & Creativity. When I make music with artists it's all about our freedom to express our ideas, which can flow endlessly and give us amazing results to make the song work in the end!

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: To have a little conception and vision of what customer wants:)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been involved in music when I was 14 y.o, I asked my granny to learn me the piano. Since that time I've been learning a lot, I've put a really hard work and soul in my progress for those 9 years of being a musician from start to where I now. There were ups and downs but I knew it's not an easy desire and I should stay strong to become successful!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I describe my style as "down to earth" as I always want to give people a clear and king emotions through my art.

A: Joy Odyssey (Illangelo) - because his creative process is so similar to mine and I found his music so relatable to me!
