Over 15 years of experience in recording bands and mixing accoustic material. I approach a mix from the emotional side, trying to feel the song and its message and then using my recording and mixing skills and the toolset to make the most emotional impact possible. This makes it easy for me to see what the song needs.
I am the owner of this professional recording studio, STUDIO HÖLL, in the east part of Hamburg. We record bands and individual musicians in three separate rooms with connecting glass doors/windows. We are experienced at mixing the recorded material (easily more than 50 tracks) to a professional standard. We do remote mixing work with tracks recorded alsewhere, so feel free to contact the stuido for any editing and mixing tasks.
We feel at home in Rock, Pop, Funk, Folk, Classical, Hip Hop and love Jazz.
We are great at recording, advising and mixing vocals (including Melodyne and Autotune for sublte to obvious pitch correction).
STUDIO HÖLL has great accoustics, for recording as well as mixing - and a livingroom vibe! Musicians just like to hang out here. There is daylight and ventilation. And the studio was designed and built by myself according to acoustician Philip Newell.

He was highly well prepared for my instrument, the cello, and rather special set up with loop station. With best quality equpiment, extreme professsional research concerning my wishes for a great “classical”, natural sound and at the same time very nuanced and differentiated. Vom ersten Moment habe ich mich wohlgefühlt.
