Against all odds, Toronto-based first-generation immigrant Kennen has made a splash in both the Canadian and international music scene. His musical journey began at age 8, with classical piano training. At age 12, he began writing and producing songs, eventually attending Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology. The multi-hyphenate released his first solo tracks as a singer in 2020. Described as a pop auteur, his beat-forward, lovelorn songs—including quintessential indie-pop "1 2 365 4 Me”—amassed 4 million plus streams on Spotify as of 2023; landing editorial playlists such as NMF Canada, Daily Lift, Fresh Finds, GLOW, it’s a bop, Jasmine, and more. He’s landed sync placements, including Maybelline’s Cushion Matte Commercial starring ITZY, and CBC’s The Strays (2021). Over 9 million plus streams are under his belt as a genre-fluid producer, including his work for artists such as Billboard and Rolling Stone-featured Vardaan Arora, RuPaul's Drag Race UK’s Tia Kofi, and and Produce 101 China season 3 contestant Curley G.
