Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: i produced a very personal track for myself where i included my own singing and lyrics. This made me very proud.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: On alot of music for my own an other dj's in the same music genre (hardcore).
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I dont know anybody there.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Cause i grew up digital already. And i really like to work inside the box to save time.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will create for you the next hit song
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I have the full control. Im responsible for the whole process.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long does it takes you to produce a track? Answer: it depends on the concept. i need time to create a new identity at first. For a single track i need around 2 weeks.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That i dont have any musical skills. I have a very musical ear and an extremely good sense of rhythm. I played drums for a long time, like to sing and have been listening to all kinds of music since I was little.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your goal with the music? How big is your audience? What should the music represent?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be specific in your orders. Let me know what feelings you wanna represent with your music.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Obviousely the PC with the daw and plugins, interface, Midi Keyboard, Headphones & Speakers.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I produce music now for 10 years. before i played around 10 years drums.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Energetic, Melodic and catchy.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: With Bring me the Horizon. They are so creative and include alot of electronic details in their Metalcore Tracks.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: U cant do anything wrong in terms of sound design. Make alot of experimentations with all kinda sounds, plugins and so on.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic Music - hard dance, bass house, dubstep, house
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Im a beast in Sound Design
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: TV Shows, other artists, jamming around or simply having a specific idea in mind.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start mostly with a vocal or a melodie Idea. Afterwards i build a break and work towards the drops. I like to make the main part in one session. Then i can work on the mixdown and details. At the end i master the tracks.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work with a relatively simple setup. i have an Arturia Midi Keyboard, Yamaha HS8 Speakers, Adam Audio sp 5 Headphones, Komplete Audio 6 Interface. I work with Fl Studio and a tons of external Plugins. I have the Fabfilter Bundle, Ozone a lot of Waves Plugins and so on...
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Vertile, Virtual Riot, Skrillex, Martin Garrix
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce full tracks in electronic Genres.
