Hi there! Im Sofia Hervier, a singer and composer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I specialice in POP, R&B, REGGAETON, LATIN MUSIC. My strenth is composing in spanish and english, creating melodies for any type of genre, and creating super catchy melodies for artists. Im a singer since 15 years old, and have a career like a singer (Sofia Hervier on Spotify with Millions of streams!).

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My role was helping the artist (Uruguay) the main topic of the song, changing words, helping to make a catchy hook!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Working on some songs for a Mexican Artist and my EP
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! Analog is something the digital cant copy. But having digital instruments or plugins also are practical in some ways. The mix of both is incredible.

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The creation process is everything, when you think, try melodies, the lyrics. And then listening the final song, is the emotions for me.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I guess people think writing is easy!

A: What story would the client talk about, references, the emotions the client wants to express!

A: To trust in me and the process, because we used to doubt at the beginning, but when its finished, its incredible :)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Ive been since 20 years old in the music industry composing for other artists while doing my own music, so i know how to understand the client and what he/she wants :)

A: My style is vert melodic, i use riffs and runs, harmonies, with romantic, pop, heartbroken lyrics.

A: I bring mostly catchy melodies and lyrics for the hook! But i work on the whole song to make it a hit.

A: It depends but mostly i begin with the concept, melody and finally the lyrics!

A: Usually i work at home (KRK 5”, Shure SM7, Lenovo computer, FL Studio, Apollo twin)

A: Jorja Smith, Sza, Summer Walker, Argentinian rock, Aaliyah, Oldies like Mos Def, Nas, Lauryn hill, Monica. You gotta go back in the days to get inspired too!
