Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Spend some time chatting back and forth to make sure you're comfortable and it's going to be a good fit.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Scarlett 2i2, Shure SM7B, Cloudlifter, Computer With Pro Tools, and My Track Ball. All you need.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Always this, been in music for over a decade now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Indie.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Stevie Wonder, just an absolute legend.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Go with your gut.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Help on a ton of country records, but tend to produce more indie and singer-songwriter things.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Melody writing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to think my ear is my biggest strength. Finding compelling melodies and hooks and grooves in a production.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Like to stay in touch with the client as much as possible. Usually get together a rough track and scratch vocal, then I like to produce everything out and track the final vocal. Then I'll spend some time editing, comping, and tuning and making sure the production is there. Then mixing and mastering!!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Pretty light setup for the home space. Rocking a pair of Kali Audio LP6's with some solid room correction software on them. Have about 12 acoustic panels placed around my room and on the ceiling to give me a pretty flat frequency response.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Always been a huge fan of Julian Bunetta!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Lots of production and mixing work. Also do a decent amount of editing, tuning, things like that.
