  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: As a song writer as well, my song: Hoping For The Day. It felt amazing to finally release something in the year 2023. My role was playing, singing, producing, and mixing/mastering it.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: My craft, as a mixing, and mastering engineer, daily.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: No, atleast not yet, I’m new.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, I’ve used both, they’re just tools to me. Digital just happens to be more convenient for me to deliver on time, plus more practical for recalls.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I will always provide professional results that will translate. If I don’t, then I will find someone for you that will.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Being fully trusted with someone’s art, they have poured their blood and tears in.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Can you send stems, sometimes individually ask for a revision to turn something up or down. If the band can’t come to an agreement on those moves, I will leave it as is.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Bad/ poorly performed songs are fixed by a good mix.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What are you going after? From what you heard of me, what can I do to assist you on achieving that goal?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Engage, be organized to reduce as much load as possible. Have a vision, and attack it. Don’t beat around the bush, finish your projects by setting a deadline.

  24. A: My original career has been leaning towards music. Musician for 24 years. Mixing, and Mastering going on 6 years

  26. A: I lean towards the more aggressive side of mixing. Idc to make bold moves if the listener could be at risk of losing attention.

  28. A: Silverstein. They’re old heads who know what they want, and they always deliver killer songwriting, and performance.

  30. A: Identify and focus on your purpose as a mixer, and eliminate distractions.

  34. A: Leadership/problem solving.

  36. A: Enhancing the recording of the song in order to maximize impact on the listener.

  38. A: Engaging with the client, asking what their vision is for the song. From there, I make that happen.

  40. A: I mix completely in the box, using a handful of trusted plugins I’ve used for many years.
