DC/Northern Virginia & NYC based mixing engineer & sound designer. Studio + live sound experience; film post-production. Let’s make your project release-ready.
I’m Emily, a mixing engineer and sound designer based in the Washington, DC / Northern Virginia (DMV) area. I’ve spent the last two years in DC studios, including Trilogy Sound Studio and an internship at Cue Recording Studios, building a strong foundation in studio recording, editing, and mix engineering. I’m also pursuing a B.A. in Music Technology & Film Sound Design at George Mason University, where I handle live sound mixing for the Mason Basketball game-day band.
My work spans music mixing, dialogue cleanup, sound design, and post-production for short films and student projects. I love collaborating with artists and filmmakers to translate creative vision into clear, punchy, release-ready mixes that travel well across streaming, theaters, and live playback.
Services: music mixing, vocal comp/editing, track cleanup, sound design, dialogue editing/repair, live sound support, basic production assistance.
Genres/Use-cases: indie, pop, singer-songwriter, hip-hop, R&B, podcasts, student/indie film.
Based in: DC / Northern Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax) — available remote or on-site.
