A Mix Engineer who will work tirelessly to achieve your vision. I have worked professionally for three years in this field mixing for small artists and bands. I may not have Abbey Road-level hardware but I will work harder than the ones that do to get your song exactly where you want it.
I'm Cameron a mix engineer working out of New York City, I have worked across several genres my most prominent being Indie Rock, RnB, Funk, and Hip hop. As said before what I do not have in hardware I make up for in technical ability and communication. I am a servant to your project and the most important thing is your vision and what you want the track to sound and feel like.

Interview with Cameron Vitale
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A project that I worked on that I am especially proud of is a funk track that has not been released yet but I do have a snippet of it on my profile.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now I am working on mixing an album for the band Screenroom.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: For me right now I prefer digital, while analog can add a nice warmth to tracks I do fully believe that warmth can be achieved digitally as I have done it for years now, the minute difference between the two is not worth the thousands of dollars in equipment and maintenance for me and many other professionals.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Your song WILL sound how you want it to and I will stop at nothing to make it.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love music in general, I have loved it for most of my life and continues to offer me a place where I can create and express myself even through mixing.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long will this mix take? Usually 1-2 days. Do you do mixing and mastering at the same time? I can do a mix and master for your song if you'd like for a discounted price.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it is an easy job to mix, mixing can be extremely difficult mentally and physically after long periods of time, and you really have to build up your ears!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What Vibe do you want for this song? Anything you want to be the star most upfront? What are some songs you want this one to sound like?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I would say be as upfront as possible about what you want and please listen to the mixes I provide you in as many environments as possible.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Rode NT-1, UA Apollo Interface, PC, 1972 Telecaster, and an Amp.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this for three years I am self-taught, and after I graduated High School I went straight to audio engineering.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would consider my style to be dreamy, and smooth. Shimmery reverb upfront vocals and smooth guitar.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with King Krule because I love his sound and the way he crafts his songs.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always EQ your reverbs! And you want to keep the life and groove of the performance present in the track.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Indie Rock, Funk, Hip hop, RnB, and more I have a wide range of tastes as a fan of music so that represents what work I do and the clients I have taken on.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill I would say is my ability to balance a mix, the elements I want to pop, pop! And the ones I want to keep in a stable rhythm stay there.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a very strong ear and creativity to songs, If I am given leeway on a song's mixing and atmosphere I will bring my creativity to the table and mold the atmosphere of the song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: FIrst and foremost I want the vision of the song from the client I'm working with, the feel/vibe is so important in mixing, and from there I use a top-down mixing approach usually where I balance all of the tracks and try to identify the most important elements and accentuate them.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work on a Computer using ProTools the industry standard, and I have all of the industry standard software that the best Producers and Engineers in the world use.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Stevie Wonder, George Martin, and King Krule are some of my current inspirations in song production and mixing.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly work as a Mix Engineer.
