Hi, I'm Jarin. What is music without emotion? It might as well be static noise. Since Snow Wood Studios was founded, there is only one goal; to create sound that moves the heart and soul. Every project receives the same level of passion, whether you are an established artist or just breaking out.
"Why are you the best for me?"
The best possible sound at the best possible price point. You will be proud to show off these recordings to the world. Why should you hand over your blood, sweat and tears to be mixed by a stranger? 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you don’t like it, send it back for a remix with exact notes of what to change.
"Are you for real?"
I never mix multiple projects the same exact way. That would be like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. I am always trying to make the next project sound a little better than yesterdays did. One, up front, reasonable, flat rate, to get a project mixed to your liking and style. Period. That’s why.
"Wow, that's pretty cool. Will your style of mixing fit me?"
I love working with all styles and genres of music, so I jump around quite a bit. But recently I have enjoyed working with hip-hop, pop, ccm, folk, indie, and bluegrass styles.

Jarin is great to work with! I would highly recommend anyone to engage in his projects.
And I hope to work with him again soon! We have worked on several projects with Jarin over the past two years. He is a great listener and always wants what is best for his client. He takes extra care in finding what you are looking for creatively and is extremely good at identifying what it is you are looking for musically.

Interview with Jarin Bressler
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work out of Cider Mountain, a destination retreat/recording studio designed by Chris Pelonis with 5,000sq/ft of no holds-barred studio facilities, and easily double that for lodging of over 25 people. We feature acoustically tuned and measured tracking rooms with Studio A being fully featured for tracking and mixing. Our highlights include access to a 1901 Steinway Concert Grand piano, isolation rooms for multiple vocals, guitar amps, tracking of live bands all in real time, and plenty of vintage high-end outboard gear to satisfy the most demanding of projects.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: BOTH. There are things that each realm brings to the table that the other cannot. For example, so much tone can be brought out of analog gear, while volume can be pumped up to extreme levels in digital.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Get all your files together in a organized fashion before you send them to me. Please label them and have them all start at 0. If you have a specific effect that you want on the song, bounce out that effect track to a .WAV file as well.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My ears. Because in the end, you can make music with just about anything, it's the multitude of decisions along the way that shape the end result.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Vocals are everything. If they aren't perfect then the song will be just another song. I spend hours getting vocals to sit just right, pouring through individual notes of each take and finessing over the tiniest details.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Give the song somewhere to go. Create dynamics. Keep the listener intrigued about what is coming next.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Listening to the client.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Patience to see it through to the finish line and accomplish the artist's vision, not my own.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am first and foremost a mix engineer, but I can provide many services beyond that such as a vocal tuning, vocal comping, and even tuning up poorly recorded instruments. I have the ability to fix individual notes within chords that are out of tune.
