Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I have always felt proud of mixing Willy Chirino's Beatles tribute album, I think it has been a very high level production where the original work has been respected in the most insignificant details
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m doing a salsa album right now
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: No really
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like analog and digital, the best of both worlds, in processes that require speed digital has won
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise my clients that I put all my effort into my work, regardless of the style of music.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I appreciate most about my job is when the production is of good quality, then the mixing and mastering flows quickly and beautifully.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My biggest concern is whether the audio tracks are properly recorded, especially the acoustic instruments.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: API 2500+ Stereo Bus, Looptrotter Monster Compressor, Lynx Hilo , Avalon 737

A: I've been doing this for over 30 years, dabbling in almost every genre.

A: my mixing style is expressive, generally speaking

A: Urban music , Latin in general, Pop,
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is a Studer Vista 8 digital console, link to my Mac Pro via RME Madi card, Motu M64 when I connect my laptop, outboard gear Looptrotter MonsterCompressor, ShadowHills buss compressor, Elysia, etc
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Steely Dan, Peter Gabriel, David Foster
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Usually, what I do most are mixing sessions, but there are also periods of time that I spend in my mastering room
