Best known as one half of sibling duo Cattle & Cane, Joe Hammill is an award-winning songwriter with notable credits for the likes of Lucy Spraggan, Ward Thomas and Alice On The Roof. Joe was also one of the first songwriters to have an official Spotify ‘Written By’ playlist.

Alice On The Roof’s debut album, which Joe co-write, topped the album charts in her native Belgium and helped Joe achieve widespread success across mainland Europe. Further chart success came closer to home, with long-time collaborator Lucy Spraggan’s most recent album ‘Choices’ hitting number 5 in the Official UK Album Chart.

Equally at home in the EDM and alt-pop spheres as he is in the ‘Very Nearly Nashville’ and Adult Contemporary scenes, Joe has achieved success with top-lines and co-writes for dance acts including CARTSN, Ten Tonne Skeleton, Bunt, Mushroom People and ChildsPlay, on labels such as Pete Tong’s Deux Trois imprint and the legendary Scandinavian dance institution Disco:Wax.
Extensive radio support from the likes of Dermot O’Leary (Radio 2), Elton John (Apple) and Frank Skinner (Absolute), as well as on adverts for trains (Scotrail), cars (Ford) and bicycles (Wiggle). Additional TV placements for Joe’s music have included Made In Chelsea, Sunday Brunch, The Only Way Is Essex, Gone Fishing with Whitehouse & Mortimer and MTV’s Catfish.
