I'm Diego, a Sound Engineer (Universidad de Chile) based in Santiago, Chile, working under dekid music. I specialize in mixing and mastering for urban, pop, and reggaetón, with credits crossing 600K+ Spotify streams alongside artists like Matteo FLK, NACHOSKY, Yung Vidd, El Wiken, Alonso Aladino, Rulo, and Klaro.

My studio runs on an Apollo Twin X interface, Dynaudio 3-way monitors, and a Manley Reference — built for a clean, translatable low end and vocals that sit forward, which is what this genre lives and dies by. My degree thesis focused specifically on mastering, so that stage gets the same care as the mix, not an afterthought.

I work 100% remote and I'm used to async workflows: send your stems or a consolidated mix, and I'll work through clearly-scoped revision rounds (2 included per service) with a realistic turnaround of 3–7 business days depending on the project. I mix trap and reggaeton daily, so I know how to balance a heavy 808 against vocals without losing punch on earbuds or club systems.
