I’ll drum whatever you want into a lovely old Slingerland/Ludwig kit w/ old Zildjian cymbals using good (but not precious) mics & Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 through LogicPro. I’m no expert as an engineer but I can make things sound better than good enough.
I’ve played professionally since finishing high school, many years after the CivilWar.
I did plenty of touring from about ‘89-‘11 w/ several bands and you can look them up from my name. Most of them were really good but could have been better.
My favourite element of music is recording, which means I don’t rush unless there’s a demand to do so. Not to say I work slowly; I just take pride In what I do while making sure not to be a bloody perfectionist.

He was open to discussing all points of the process: his setup, mics, the score and parts, his and different thoughts about the drum part arrangements. He was very involved in the process, and had lots of suggestions, but always consulted or asked my opinion about things which deviated from the score. The music benefited greatly from allowing space for Danny's own ideas. Wonderful attention to detail.
