I'm Gabriel Miragge, a professional extreme vocalist and vocal coach from Argentina with over 16 years of experience in guttural and distorted vocals. I specialize in delivering powerful, controlled screams, growls, and fry techniques with emotional depth and technical precision. My work spans genres like metal, hardcore, trap-metal, dark electronic, and cinematic music.
Whether you need brutal growls, sharp high screams, cinematic low chants, or tribal throat singing (Mongolian & Tibetan style), I’ve got you covered. I also offer vocal arrangements, harmonies, spoken word, and whisper layers to enhance your track's atmosphere.
Every take I deliver is performed with intention, tight timing, and clean audio. Your project will sound exactly as massive, dark or aggressive as it needs to be.

Interview with Gabriel Miragge
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I grew up surrounded by music — my mother was a soprano, and I was trained early in guitar and singing. Over time, I dove into the metal scene and got obsessed with the expressive power of extreme vocals. After years of experimentation, study, and vocal injuries, I developed my own method to scream safely and effectively. Today I combine my work as a frontman, session screamer, and vocal coach — helping others find their authentic voice through distortion.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on metal and its subgenres — especially nu metal, deathcore, industrial, and cinematic metal. But I also collaborate on trap-metal, dark electronic, experimental, and soundtrack-style compositions. I love projects that mix aggression with atmosphere, heaviness with emotion. Whether it's a brutal breakdown, a ritual chant, or a whisper before the drop, I adapt my vocals to match the mood and intention of the music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Translating emotion into controlled vocal distortion. I can switch between extreme techniques with seamless flow and blend styles from deathcore to trap-metal to oriental throat singing. Also, my experience as a coach allows me to diagnose what a track needs vocally and deliver it fast and efficiently.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring raw intensity, emotional direction, and complete control over my scream tones. My vocals don’t just scream — they express. I understand where to leave space and when to explode. Being a vocal coach as well, I ensure every take is intentional, clean, and recorded at industry standard. I also specialize in vocal arrangements that give depth and cinematic dimension to your track — whether it’s tribal, epic, or just brutally aggressive.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My go-to vocal chain includes subtractive EQ, multiband compression to control harsh frequencies, a tight gate, a bit of saturation (usually FabFilter Saturn or Decapitator), and light de-essing. For distorted vocals, I keep the dynamics slightly tamed but not crushed — I want the rawness to breathe. Reverbs and delays are added in parallel to preserve clarity and widen the space when needed.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I usually record through a Focusrite Scarlett interface paired with an SM7B or a condenser mic depending on the tone I’m after
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by artists who push emotional and sonic boundaries with intention. Chester Bennington was a huge influence — his ability to blend melodic vulnerability with raw, primal screams shaped my approach. I also admire Devin Townsend for his massive vocal layering and atmospheric production, and Mick Gordon for how he merges aggression with cinematic sound design. On the darker side, I draw from Attila Csihar and Tuvan throat singers for their ritualistic presence, and from underground screamers who turn pain into poetry without relying on trends. I’m always listening with both emotion and technique in mind.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my clients hire me to record professional guttural vocals for metal, trap-metal, hardcore, or cinematic projects. This includes lead growls and screams, layered vocals, spoken word, whisper sections, and sometimes ethnic throat singing (Mongolian/Tibetan) for atmospheric builds. I often help structure vocal dynamics across the track — adding contrast, intensity, and emotional flow — and I also clean and edit the takes myself to ensure tightness and clarity. In some cases, I guide the client vocally or creatively, helping them define the vibe they’re after, especially when they want something unique and dark but still polished.
