Patrick is a singer-songwriter from New Jersey. He started writing songs in high school and performed them live with friends at open mics and school concerts. After graduating high school, he struggled to find people to play with when he noticed a lot of friends giving up their songwriting. To continue playing live, Patrick had to learn how to sing. Singing didn't come easy to him as he found his voice extremely nasally without much stamina. For years Patrick embarrassed himself at open mics at his university, performing songs he could barely sing. Frustrated from being unable to express himself vocally the way he wanted, his love for performing and sharing his songs with the world kept him returning again and again. After graduating college, Patrick worked for 3 years for a large engineering firm outside of Washington D.C. Here he took vocal lessons so he could finally express himself with his voice the way he dreamed of. He quickly realized this job held him back creatively and decided to move to Spain to teach English and pursue writing. Being surrounded by a new culture that really honored creativity gave Patrick the courage he needed to take his songwriting to the next level. While in Spain for 4 years, he wrote some of his best songs, performed his own concerts, and played live on the boardwalk in A Coruña.
