Electronic Dance Producer

Music producer / DJ of 14 years with performances at several major dance music festivals in Australia as well as producing tracks played by many touring DJ's around the world such as Folamour, Salute, Demuja, DJ Seinfeld, Black Loops, and Pretty Girl. I specialise in drum production and creating beautiful, textured ambient spaces.

My name is Zak, I'm from Australia and now living in Berlin. My sound has been likened to artists such as Four Tet, Floating Points and Seb Wildblood.

I have an obsession with music production, technology and history. I am neurodivergent and I have synesthesia which has allowed for me to experience sound in an all encompassing, detail heavy manner. I was in a psych-rock band for 3 years as lead guitarist and as a songwriter (Elephant Ego) and have been making dance music under 'Cassettes For Kids' (2011-2024) and now 'Wretla' (2024-today).

I have released on labels such as Gallery Records, Happiness Therapy, Flirt Records, Datura, Sufrimento, Bon Appetit, Clipp.Art and have an upcoming EP on All My Thoughts.

My experience and passion for music allows me to faithfully recreate old sounds whilst being able to form the sounds of the future.
