Composer, Musician, Vocalist

I am an eclectic composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer who spent over ten years in Brazil studying its rich culture. I have a finely tuned ear and intuition and an endless stream of creativity that I want to use to make you and your project sound its best.

I am a composer, singer, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist whose main instrument is the acoustic seven string guitar. After years playing in rock bands and producing my compositions at home I felt a calling for something more. In 2012 ,with my guitar in hand, I embarked on an open-ended musical pilgrimage across the Americas from Mexico to Brazil to procure the regional music of where I passed. Learning the art of being a street musician through collaboration with a myriad of artists from around the world along with being taken in by various mentors, my sound rapidly evolved absorbing the new musical styles and techniques that I was exposed to. In December 2023 I left to travel the northeast of Brazil again with the objective to share my interpretations of the local cultures that I recorded at their origins. After ten years of traveling around Brazil absorbing its music, it was my way
of giving back something to the culture that gave me so much. I have begun to fuse all of the rhythms and cultures with my roots of rock, blues, funk, jazz, and beats. Now a self-sufficient producer I can add some depth to your vocals or record nylon guitar as well as any Brazilian percussion. I am very creative and can help you compose and arrange your song. I recorded over 40 songs in Brazil which are available on all digital platforms under my name Vini De Groove.
