Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Q: What type of stems & deliverables do I get? A: Stems for all instruments, including wet, dry, and DI. A MIDI file for any VST instruments. A Guitar Pro tab so you and your band can learn and play the song live. A notepad doc containing all song information like key, tempo, etc.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: I don't really know. Most of my clients seem to grasp my service quite well.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: 1. Please explain the kind of song you want and provide 2-3 reference tracks (with links) representing the style and level of complexity you expect. 2. Do you have any specific technical requirements for the song, i.e. dropped tuning, 6-string/7string, key signature, tempo, time signature, etc? 3. What is the desired length of the song? 4. Feel free to attach any video or audio files that might help me better understand your needs.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: If you're on a budget and want a cookie-cutter, generic result, use AI. If you want a unique, high-quality, human-made song with personality, edge, and top-tier creativity & musicianship, choose me. P.S. Good reference = great results!

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: An acoustic guitar, a solar-charging audio recorder, high-quality headphones, a tent, a swiss army knife.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I studied music (guitar major) for six years, earning my BMUS honours degree in 2014. Even during those student years, I was writing and recording constantly. After collaborating as a guitarist & vocalist on various singles, EPs, and albums, I started investing in my own studio gear and production skills to gain more creative control over the final product. As I began sharing the music I was creating, word spread among my musician friends—and soon I was helping others bring their songs to life too. Over time, I kept upgrading—both my gear and my skill set. For years, producing was a side hustle while live performance was my main focus. Today, those roles have flipped: I produce and compose full time, and perform live on weekends. After relocating to New Zealand, I shifted gears to focus more on high-quality recordings and building an online presence.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Musically intellectual with a digestible palate on the surface, and technical delights between the cracks. I come from a background of progressive Rock and Metal music, yet have a huge appreciation for many commercial Billboard hits. So, while I love the technical musicality, I also love a song that hits you right in the feels.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Jakub Zytecki - he is one of the most creatively innovative guitarists and producers I have ever heard. He also just seems like a down-to-earth guy.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Your biggest asset is NOT your studio, your gear, or your technical skill. It's your mind — your "ear" and musical intuition cultivated over years of experience and an endless hunger to keep improving.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My guitar-forward compositions.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have a small home studio setup ideal for remote production. I get a good sound with just a small interface, high-quality software and, of course, my beautiful guitars. What makes my services shine are my creative ideas and the tools to create a high-quality, fully produced track at a great price.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Jakub Zytecki (artist, producer), Daniel Braunstein (producer, writer) and Adam Nolly Getgood (audio engineer, bassist), and Buster Odeholm (guitarist, producer, engineer).

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: An artist needs a killer instrumental track or EP to lay their vocals or drums over. I ghostwrite the song (they retain full copyright) and send them the stems and tabs for all instruments.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Rock, Metal and other guitar-forward genres.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring an emphatic focus on detail to the composition and the mix. If you know what kind of sound you want, I can make it happen, no matter how nuanced or complex. I'm also an experienced and proficient guitarist and can bring a song to life with an instrumental hook, guitar solo or multiple layers that add depth and emotional intensity.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I like to work with references. Whenever someone describes the type of song they want, a good reference usually says more than any amount of words can. I then send a partial draft (Intro, Verse, Chorus) to see if the client likes the general direction before sending a full draft and finally the mixed and mastered track. Revisions are welcome at every step.
