My philosophy is to collaborate and partner with artists to help get the sounds they envision.
Previous projects have focused on alternative rock, classic-influenced rock, Americana, jazz, and classical music quartets. I've also played guitar for 39 years and have helped enhance previous projects with additional instruments or MIDI. However, my goal is to stick with the original musicians' takes and band/songwriter's vision, where any additional recorded tracks are pursued if only agreed upon first by the artist if they are necessary. Logic and Jazz Guitar course certified from Berklee College of Music.
Also available via Zoom meetings to get know the artist's vision and work together throughout the mixing process.
I'll typically mix and do "light" mastering on projects, or master only if the project is already mixed -- however, I tend to avoid doing both mixing and mastering on a project, as I find another perspective often helps. For example, audio example is with a local band I've worked with and includes headroom for mastering -- feel free to listen to the final song on the Spotify playlist for the end result.
