Pro, warm, and powerful mixes across Afrobeat, pop, reggae, hip-hop or soul? I bring 20+ years of experience as a producer, mixer & musician.
I'm Aurélien Falconnet — a Berlin-based producer, mixing & mastering engineer, and multi-instrumentalist with 20+ years of experience in the studio and on stage. I specialize in genre-blending productions rooted in Afrobeat, reggae, jazz, soul, hip-hop, and global groove-oriented sounds.
From songwriting and arrangement to full production, recording, mixing, and final mastering, I work closely with artists to bring out the emotion and clarity in every track. Whether you need a warm analog-inspired mix, live instrumentation, or a full track built from the ground up, I’ve got you covered:
Mixing & Mastering (digital + analog hybrid workflow)
Production & Arrangement
Bass, Guitar, and Vocal Tracking
I also run Falcon Studio Berlin, a creative and collaborative space where I produce, track, and mix music with artists across styles. I’m equally comfortable refining a hip-hop mix as I am arranging horns for a soul groove or adding percussive flavor to an Afrobeat rhythm section.

Interview with Aurelien Falconnet
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When doing composition work/instrumentals, alternate between layering your ideas as fast as possible, with different textures and sound and coming back to those ideas and cleaning up, editing them. This way you can build a track that keeps freshness and excitement without losing in quality.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Everything from Hip-hop to pop music, afrobeat & reggae and these days a lot singer-songwriter stuff.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I founded Falcon Studio Berlin in 2024 with the goal of creating a space where artists, producers, and vocalists feel both creatively inspired and professionally supported. It's important to me that the studio isn’t just a place to work — it’s a place where people feel comfortable, respected, and focused. Whether you're producing a track, recording vocals, composing, or mixing, I aim to offer a clean, reliable, and good-sounding environment that supports your process. We have a separate control room, very good acoustic treatment, state of the art speakers and mixing desk. A large booth for instruments and vocals. SSL preamps and controllers, 1176, Neumann microphones and an upright, piano.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I was fortunate enough to meet and work as a sound engineer for the amazing Benny Greb. His dedication to his art and craft is outstanding and a real inspiration. As for other engineer, I love the work of James Royo.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of the time I produce the instrumental for a singer, record the vocals at my studio in Berlin ( or receive the tracks from accross the net) and I mix & master everything into a finished, polished version.
