Producing, mixing, and songwriting for 5 years, I specializing in Indie and Post-Punk Rock. I work with artists to bring their vision to life, whether that means a clean, radio-ready mix or a raw, emotional song. From vocals to drums to synths & guitars, I focus on highlighting what makes your music unique and helping it connect with listeners.
Hi! I’m Azzam. I’ve spent 5 years crafting mixes and producing songs that capture emotion and energy. I work closely with artists to highlight the elements that matter most. I offer mixing, producing and song coaching/advice services. I've been making music of my own for a long time, so i understand the need to capture that lightning in a bottle.

Interview with Azzam
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd really like to understand Kevin Parker from Tame Impala's work flow. He does everything himself and sounds like a full band. He really interests me.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always make sure below 50-75hz the bass isnt panned or seperated in the mix, unless you're breaking rules on purpose that is.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on indie rock/pop, bedroom pop and post-punk rock, but the mixing process isn't too different for everything else, it all comes down to frequencies, volume, panning and effects.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is definitely hearing if things fit in a mix or not. Sometimes after hours of listening to the same thing over and over, you get what i like to call 'demoitis', where you can't really tell if it sounds good or not. That's when you need a fresh set of ears to come in.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring the artist's song to life. Most artists have a need to create something that captures a certain feeling in them, and they focus on the musical elements, like chords and melody, but without mixing, it doesn't blend well all together. This is where i come in, and ensure everything has it's place in the song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First i ask the client what their vision is for the song, as if you don't know what you want, you'll never know when you've reached it. Then i either ask the client for a list of songs that inspired their song, or i make my own playlist with similar songs to get an understanding of the type of sound they want. After that it's all mixing until things sound right, taking a break for your ears and then repeating the process.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a dual monitor set up with a Focusrite audio interface, a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp, a Jeckyll & Hyde pedal, an SM-57 Mic, an AKAI keyboard, and a few electric and acoustic guitars.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Julian Casablancas from The Strokes really inspires me as he practically revived rock in the 2000s starting a whole wave of post-punk bands like Arctic Monkeys. He also changed his sound so much and makes very experimental music on The Voidz.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly do mixing for clients, but I also do producing, song-writing, vocal tuning and song advice.
