not your average drum part - with a background in jazz and influenced by brazilian, west-african, and eastern european music, i try to create unique grooves that lets your song stand out.
It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing.
Anyone can quantize a shitty beat and it sounds ok, but it takes a bit more for a groove to come alive.
Giving each groove the right amount of swing and grit can make or break a song.
and thats where i come in.
With formal training in Jazz, i learned to harness the power of improvisation when it comes to creating grooves and songwriting.
I usually work closely with bands, and am often involved in Songwriting, and not just Tracking Drums, but here i am!
